I am a database and website designer with over ten years experience. I have worked on large and small, complex and simple projects. For the last seven years I worked for an agency providing recruitment and IT solutions to the not for profit sector. This was one of the leading agencies in the sector. Working as the database and website services manager I developed and oversaw numerous database and website projects for both small organisations and large well known ones within the sector.
I have excellent experience in understanding the needs of organisations and finding solutions within budget constraints. I have developed and built solutions for widely differing needs.
Examples of the types of organisations I have worked with include health organisations, government agencies and quangos, charities as well as commercial companies.

From my experience I can quickly build projects to meet requirements drawing on past work and knowledge of working out similar solutions. Some of the types of databases I have carried out before include those for: membership, contacts, finances, statistics, questionnaires, stock taking and project information and many others.

My aim in building websites is always to provide clear, easy to navigate and stylish websites. I aim to combine both simplicity and good design.
I design websites to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium's HTML, XML and Accessibility guidelines.
